TWO TOURNAMENTS – RATED AND UNRATED

Rated tournament – 4 rounds, G50, d5.

Unrated tournament – 6 rounds, G25, d5.

USCF membership required to play in rated sections; ANYONE can play in unrated section.

Bring chess sets and clocks – none provided.

Players must report by 9:00 a.m.  Late entries must take a one half-point bye.

Rated Rounds begin at 9:15 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 1:15 p.m. and 3:00 p.m.

Unrated Rounds begin at 9:15 a.m., 10:05 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 12:20 p.m., 1:15 p.m., 2:05 p.m.

Unrated Awards at 3:00 p.m. in Cafeteria

Prize fund will be 70% of entry fees. Prize fund will be distributed as described above.

Tournament Director reserves the right to collapse tournament to fewer sections depending upon entries, and to change the section rating cutoffs.

 Trophies awarded to the Top 3 Scholastic Finishers (Adults ineligible for trophies)

Medals Awarded to Top Finisher in Scholastic sections - K-4, K-8 and K-12
