Only one youth organization spans Niagara County with a mixture
of programs and services ranging from scholarships to athletics, from Youth Court
to Community Service, working with agencies including law enforcement and school
districts.
You should know that the Niagara Police Athletic League:
Funds and distributes more scholarship money than any other organization in the
county
Funds and administers from instructional level to travel level athletic programs
in several sports
Funds and advises a youth community service group
Is an integral part of the Juvenile Justice Board and Youth Court
Provides volunteer, financial, and technical support to organizations involved in
sports tournaments, D.A.R.E., fingerprinting, community festivals, youth recognition
programs, academic counseling, and tutoring
The Niagara Police Athletic League provides all that and more with a dedicated group
of volunteers and a very small staff. The staff and volunteers are an umbrella
for other youth groups needing Niagara PAL's unique capabilities. It has demonstrated
history of making a difference in the lives of young people. It also provides
an important link between law enforcement and the community.
These programs and services can only continue with the financial support
of the local community. With your help, we can ensure Niagara PAL services
continue and grow. Your personal donation or sponsorship will go directly
towards one of the many Niagara PAL programs and events. There are no commissions
or salaries paid on this request. Please use this
donation form to send your tax deductible pledge.
